Hi. I'm Michal Lauren. 

Like the boy’s name, Michael. 

Kids always tell me that I have a boy’s name, while the mail is typically addressed to a “Mr.” In fact, a men’s fraternity sent me an invitation to join the summer before my first year at the University of Texas at Austin.

My name is different, but I’m assuming you’re here to see some creative advertising. Welcome. It’s an honor to have you here.

While building this website, I’ve been blessed with some great opportunities. The biggest, lately, has been working side-by-side with so many talented and humble people at The Richards Group. Passionate about art direction, innovation, and serving others, I’m chasing dreams with work and in my personal life as I try to make the world a better place. And, boy, making the world a better place sure has its dividends… like Graphis Gold awards, top Healthcare advertising awards, features in Ad Age and AdWeek, Superbowl TV spots, dozens of ADDYs, graduating top of The University of Texas at Austin’s creative advertising program, helping save over 120,000 lives from cancer through trackable advertising, and, with one campaign alone, helping make one client over $30 billion in just one year (in the middle of a pandemic). My biggest laurels, though, have never been work related… The biggest honor of my life has been becoming a mom to a sweet one year old son and serving with the christian ministry, Young Life, for seven years, where I was able to witness the gospel to thousands of kids, many whom now have a relationship with Jesus Christ and are changing the world.
